Just Done! Isn't this a cute project? My friend Donna made it for me to hang in the shop. (I'm so lucky) It's from a line from Moda "Salt Air" that just came in about a week ago. It only takes one layer cake and a background fabric to make. OH, and just dibbles for the border and binding. Donna said it was quite easy to make. It has such a summery, beachy feel to it. Can't you just smell the salt air?
For those of you that don't know - Layer cakes are the packages of approximately 40 - ten inch squares of every fabric in a line of fabric from Moda. Moda has huge lines of fabric! So, it' a great way to get a big variety of fabrics that all coordinate. Then! We have a great book called 'Schnibbles" and it has some really fun quilts in it. They are all made from either the Layer cakes or the Charm Pacs. Depending on how big of a quilt you want to make. I have been quite impressed with the quilts I have seen made from this book. Really Fun Stuff!
