Book Club Today!

Fun Day! Fun Day! I always look forward to book club day! We just finished reading a book called Honolulu. I really enjoyed it, and I think there will be lots to discuss. It's always interesting to find out other peoples opinions. We will be reading "Sweetness at the Botton of the pie" this month and discussing it on June 3rd. I kind of read ahead this time and finished this book the other day. I LOVED IT! Books will be available at the shop. (untill we run out) Maybe you could stop by and pick up a copy and join us!

One Million Pillowcase Challenge

Aunt Mary's is excepting the challenge from American Patchwork and Quilting, to help donate one million pillowcases to local charities. A beautiful pillowcase made by someone who cares can really uplift a lonely child, give encouragement for a battered woman or make a bed more cheery for someone in need. I think of it as a great way to give someone who needs it, a big hug. To find out more about the challenge go to www.allpeoplequilt.com/millionpillowcases .
We will be having a fun workday here at the shop on Saturday May 15th from 10 - 4. With demos on new pillowcase patterns. $5 kits, Door prizes and much more. I think it will be a fun day!
