Saturday Sampler Starts Next Week

I found this quilt in a great magazine this summer and thought it would make a nice Saturday Sampler. The blocks are all different sizes and it will give me the oportunity to do lots of different tecniques. There will be lots to learn. Basic piecing, Curves, Paper piecing, Hand and Machine applique, and soooo much more. There are four sessions each month that you could come to. Give me a call or stop by for more information and to sign up.

These little four inch leaf blocks will be our first block. You will have the choice to put them together as an eight inch block, or stack them on top of each other as a string of falling leaves. I thought leaves would be nice for September. They are using quite basic piecing tecniques.

We Love Stitchery At Aunt Mary's

Here at Aunt Mary's, we really love our stitchery and "Red Work". There are such great patterns coming out all the time. Here is a part of a pattern called "Hocus Pocus Ville" by Meg Hawkey. It has 12 houses from a witches village. I have really enjoyed stitching it up.
Some of the projects are small and easy to get done. They make a great portable project. I have mine in a baggie in my purse for all of those unexpected stitching minutes.

Lots of the lattest patterns are always in stock or coming in. I really love to make samples so there are new ones quite often.
